Politique d’expédition

Last Updated: February 15, 2026

At VEFA Gallery, we take great care in ensuring that all artworks are professionally packed, insured, and shipped safely. Please review our shipping policy below before completing your purchase.

1. Shipping Availability

VEFA Gallery ships original artworks and select items within the United States and internationally, unless otherwise stated on the artwork listing.

Some artworks—particularly large‑scale, fragile, or high‑value works—may require custom crating or specialized fine‑art shipping, which can affect shipping costs and delivery timelines.

2. Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 5–10 business days after full payment is received.
  • Additional processing time may be required for:
    • Custom packing or crating
    • Artist coordination
    • Framing or conservation considerations

If additional time is required, VEFA Gallery will notify the buyer prior to shipment.

3. Shipping Methods & Carriers

VEFA Gallery works with trusted carriers and professional fine‑art shipping providers, selected based on the artwork’s size, value, destination, and handling needs. Shipping methods may include:

  • Fine‑art logistics and white‑glove delivery
  • Blanket‑wrap delivery (when applicable)
  • Standard carriers for smaller or non‑fragile works

Carrier selection is determined at VEFA Gallery’s discretion to ensure safe transit.

4. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are calculated separately and are not included in the artwork price unless explicitly stated.
  • Shipping costs may include:
    • Packing materials or custom crates
    • Shipping insurance
    • Carrier and handling fees
    • Logistics coordination

For oversized, high‑value, or international shipments, VEFA Gallery may provide a custom shipping quote prior to finalizing the order.

5. Insurance

All artworks shipped by VEFA Gallery are fully insured for their sale value while in transit.

Insurance coverage ends once the shipment is marked delivered by the carrier.

6. Delivery & Signature Requirement

  • A signature upon delivery is required for most artwork shipments.
  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the artwork at the designated delivery address.

Any additional fees incurred due to missed delivery, re‑delivery, storage, or rerouting are the responsibility of the buyer.

7. International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

For international orders:

  • Buyers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees.
  • These charges are determined by the destination country and are not controlled by VEFA Gallery.
  • Customs‑related fees are non‑refundable.

We recommend contacting your local customs office prior to purchase for further information.

8. Risk of Loss & Damage

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon successful delivery.

If an artwork arrives damaged:

  1. Notify VEFA Gallery within 24 hours of delivery
  2. Retain all original packaging materials
  3. Provide clear photographs of the artwork and packaging

Failure to follow these steps may void insurance claims.

9. Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available by appointment only at:

VEFA Gallery
21825 Hawthorne Blvd.
Torrance, CA 90503

  • Photo ID and proof of purchase are required
  • Once an artwork is picked up, it is no longer insured by VEFA Gallery

10. Returns & Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are non‑refundable, including return shipping, unless otherwise stated in VEFA Gallery’s Return Policy.

Custom‑packed, crated, or international shipments may not be eligible for return.
