The Gold Flake Monarch is a 12 x 12-inch original aerosol painting by Risk Rock, executed in 2026 on heavy cold press cotton rag to explore luminosity through controlled layering. Featuring a meticulously rendered Monarch butterfly overlaid with precise geometric drafting lines, this limited-edition piece (1 of 50) integrates gilded gold flake accents that catch ambient light with quiet authority. Backed by verified studio records and a Certificate of Authenticity, the work offers traceable lineage and lasting collector value, bridging heritage craft with contemporary spray art sensibility.
Framed within a gold bamboo-style border and set against a contrasting black mat, the deckled edges of the cotton rag paper emphasize the tactile nature of the medium.
