Denise is a former Indiana farm girl now residing in Surf City, USA (Huntington Beach, California). She began her fine art journey in 2019 after purchasing a plein air kit on a Wednesday evening and attending her first plein air paint-out in Laguna Beach the very next morning, fully embracing the movement ever since.
She is an active member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA), the Pastel Society of the West Coast, an artist member of the California Art Club, and a board member of the Southern California Plein Air Painters Association (SOCALPAPA). Denise is represented by Huse Skelly Gallery in Newport Beach and Studio 7 Gallery in Laguna Beach.
