Steve Reich’s hypnotic minimalist work features pianos, voices, winds, strings and percussion; its tonal beauty and driving rhythmic pulse has transfixed listeners since the work’s premiere in 1976 in New York City. Performing at the VEFA Gallery will be musicians participating in the TAPS LA Music Festival as well as professional musicians from the Los Angeles area.

TAPS is an immersive contemporary music experience hosted by Ted Atkatz, featuring an 18-piece ensemble performing an evening of layered rhythm, experimental sound, and atmospheric visual design.
